Great location and lower price

Location is great. It's near Taipei train station and department store. And the hotel is surrounded with restaurants and convenience stores. It's really convenient.

Facilities are too old, and it's not pretty clean.

The location, close to the railway station. Some animated streets around

Hard mattresses make hard nights. Very noisy hotel, inside and outside on the street. The breakfast in a sad basement with only asian food (first time ever). There is a coffee machine though. Maybe there are only asian tourists? Better buy some cake outside with a coffee...

Small rooms

The location is great - 2 mins walk from the Z8 entrance of Taipei Main Station. Staff are really friendly.

The beds are hard. My rib could feel the bed spring. Our room felt too small. It was unlike in the photos where the rooms seemed so big.

The hotel is strategically placed near Taipei Bus Station and Taipei Main Station so going and out of the city is easy. The breakfast buffet is good

You could hear the noise outside the room but overall it is nice hotel

Staff was friendly and responsive. Requested for extra pillows and hangers, and they were delivered to room promptly.

May have gotten bitten by bed bugs on my first night :( Woke up with several bites on my shoulder and neck, which were visible for 2 weeks.

1. Location! 2. Concierge and lobby! 2. Value per square footage/big rooms! 3. Ideal size of an apartment in a very good area! 3. Breakfast! Great food and selections!

1. Hard mattresses 2. Poor hollow pillows, with plastic underneath the pillow case 3. Only 2 electric outlets (1 from the bath area and 1 near the mirror) 4. The room we stayed in, seemed/not sure if the carpets were shampooed and the window blinds and 3 chairs with a lot of dust, because it caused us allergies 5. Washroom doors looks not clean, maybe because of the wear/tear of doors due to age

Staff, location, room

I did not like having breakfast in the other hotel. It was not too far but first day I couldnt find the hotel (the one to eat breakfast) walked a lot and got soaked. Also, as an experience traveler, I dont think it was nice to clean my own plates as if I was eating in a dormitory cafeteria (especially when I pay almost 70 usd per night!

Hotel in good location

1. Good location. It is close to Taipei Station Main, but you have to pass through the underground shopping mall and find the exit Z6. A lift is at exit Z4 for travellers with heavy luggages. 2. Hospitable staffs at the reception. 3. The cleaning lady had a good smile.

1. A little bit old fashion. You are given a key to open the door. Therefore, when you go out, you have to remember to take the key and lock it from inside.
